We pick up our guests at 5:30 PM, giving them a warm welcome.
During the trip, we explain the plan for our exciting aurora-hunting night, building anticipation as we delve into the winter landscapes of the region.
The Aurora, the Green Lady
Upon arriving at our destination, a few stars start to timidly peek through the clouds. Virgil, with his intimate knowledge of the area, takes us to one of his hidden spots, far from the hustle and bustle. After a few minutes of waiting, the sky surprises us by clearing up completely, revealing a spectacle that is rarely forgotten.
Our guests suit up, ready for what promises to be a night filled with magic and adventure.
Leaving the car behind, and in search of the perfect spot, we venture into the deep snow. While we light a small campfire to add warmth to the experience, we help our guests set up their cameras, ensuring they are ready to capture unforgettable images of the aurora throughout the evening.
We love sharing fascinating stories about life in the Arctic, northern traditions, and the mysteries of the aurora borealis, while our guests enjoy a delicious hot meal, accompanied by tea, coffee, and homemade cookies, which are always received with enthusiasm.
